Real Talk With Twinmommy101: Behind The Blogger

5_20150515170725_fn0_realTransitioning from childhood to parenthood is not a cycle that we talk about often. When a person goes from being a child to having children of their own, what influences the decisions they make and the kind of parents they become? Are there some experiences that shape their parental beliefs more than other? While I don’t have all the answers, I can tell you that I am a professional in “experiences.” From poor taste in men to “wrong place, wrong time” bad luck, I could bore you for hours with stories you’ll never remember. But when it comes to being a M.O.M. (mother of multiples), well I can do anything but bore you with that. People often think that I parent the way I do because I am “brown,” which is true. But I’m pretty sure that most people don’t realize exactly how my “browness” influences the decisions I make as a mother. As a “first generation” child, who was born in Atlanta,GA to parents who had immigrated from India, things were MUCH different for me growing up than most others. The way the cards were dealt to me have made me who I am today......
